"Sarah"

Third times a charm...

This piece is too small...

This piece is too wimpy...

This piece is just right!

What a sad little chest...missing knobs, lots of scratches and a drawer that wouldn't open.

I named her "Sarah" from the book Sarah Tall and Plain.

Tracy Porter Update

It seems Tracy Porter has closed...e-commerce and retail. Tracy is one of my favorites, not as a place to purchase items, but as a place to always find inspiration.

I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm sad to see another business close. Hopefully she'll be able to reinvent her company and come back better than before...until then, take a look at some images of her beautiful home in Santa Barbara.

Maine Home Available

Kirstie Alley has put her Maine home up for sale and as I look at the pictures I keep hearing this poem...

Sugar and spice
and everything nice
that's what little girls are made of

Sunshine and rainbows
and ribbons for hair bows
that's what little girls are made of

Tea parties, laces
and baby doll faces
that's what little girls are made of

You can see more of Kirstie's home at Realtor.com

Jane Hall

Jane Hall's Philosophy,

“Interiors have personalities. We can use colour and texture to evoke a room’s unique personality, and that of ourselves. Fabric, colour and texture are my passions and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I seek to turn dreams into reality for my clients with thousands of fabrics to choose from and to inspire. Jane Hall Design – Voice of Style is an artisan’s treasure trove that can inspire anyone to create something totally unique.”

Jane's home is full of color inspiration

I would love to visit her store in Toronto...but until then I'll just have to visit Jane Hall Design.
