Mixed Tile

I'm loving this "mixed tile" look, it's a great way to save money or make a limited supply go a long way.

Mix it Up

I love the look of multiple prints and lots of color in a room. I tend to be a little too matchy with my colors, but I'm working on adding a zinger color to my rooms.

I found these pictures on Pinterest of fun mixed patterned rooms...

This is a great idea when you can't find enough panels at the thrift store!

Animal Prints

I love animal prints in my decor ~ cow, leopard, zebra, dalmatian... They just add a little something unexpected and fun to a room.

I think they look great in any style home!

Boho

Today Boho refers to a mix referencing hippie, Gypsy, vintage and romantic touches. A collected "over time" casual look that screams comfy, soft and free.

Malika Fabric Collection

Lee Jofa has introduced a new fabric collection...

"Ethnic inspired patterns from Turkey and Uzbekistan are classic mainstays
in traditional as well as transitional interior design. Malika, meaning Queen,
is a collection of Central Asian inspired designs in rich opulent qualities and
beautifully saturated color palettes. Traditional ikats, rug patterns and
embroideries are re-imagined in new techniques and applications."

My favorite colors, orange and aqua! Also ethnic prints look great in any style decor.

v.intr.
To occupy oneself in an aimless or ineffective manner.
v.tr.
To waste (time) in idling: puttered away the hours in the garden.
My Definition
To move items in the home around and around and around until they land in a pleasing way.

Dining Room Chairs

I love an eclectic look and one of the easiest ways to achieve this...don't match your dining room chairs with the table. Sets of furniture can be a little boring and predictable. What do you think?
