Someday I would love to build a home...a small farmhouse that lives large and filled with vintage details. This plan from Southern Living has all this and more.
Do you know how much this would cost to build? The only change I would make is add a walk in pantry in the indent next to the kitchen, then it would be perfection!!!! I'm in love (:
If I ever win the lottery I want to build this house. It is absolutely perfect for me. I would add a garage a greenhouse a garden area and a pet area on a large piece of property. I love it!!!!!
Wow - this house is so pretty! I love the style inside and out. So when you build it, Gayle, I'll be happy to come and stay in the guest cottage! : )
ReplyDeleteLove this! Maybe I can talk my hubby into building one of these :)

ReplyDeleteOur builder says 110.00 a sq ft in KY will get you anything you want. Roofing this plan will cost you an arm and a leg.
DeleteI have had my eye on this plan ever since it was published in Southern Living years ago. Love the open concept.

How many heat and air units are there?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing!
Delete4 HVAC units. We built this house in VA. You are going to want to rethink the laundry room. We made that a pantry.
DeleteWhere did you move the laundry too?? If you made the laundry a pantry? Great idea.
DeleteFYI: This house is featured in the movie "Miracles from Heaven." It is located in Covington Georgia. It is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhere is this at in Covington Georgia, that is where I live.
