Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren  has been designing items for the home for over 30 years. 1983 marked the launch of the "Ralph Lauren Home Collection" including bedding, furniture, lighting, rugs, wall coverings, and paint in a wide variety of looks with names such as Thoroughbred, Modern Penthouse and Jamaica. The range of offerings reflects Lauren’s unwillingness to be pinned down by a single style, yet everything carries the unmistakable imprint of the designer and his brand.

Plaids, animal prints, Indian prints, distressed leather and Americona are just some of the classics found in both his home and clothes collections.

1875 Cottage

This adorable Victorian cottage looks small on the outside, but lives large on the inside. 1072 square feet is the actual size with pine floors and white walls consistent throughout, the rooms flow together. A very romantic home for sale in Maryland.

Neighbors Home For Sale

We put our home up for sale last August (Our Home Tour) and very little has happened (no offers and very few showings). We've removed the collections and the vintage lighting. I stored away some of the extra furnishings and taken down the window treatments. We wanted to downsize but may decide to just stay put...I don't care for living in limbo and watching so many of our neighbors also selling their homes means this is a buyers market with lots of competition.

The upside is I get to see inside so many of the homes I have admired from the road.

This Home is located at the end of our street. A beautiful home with a guest cottage and a view of the Bay. I do love our neighborhood!

Fashion Designer Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood the English designer rose to fame in the 1970's with the "punk rock" look.

Westwood has constantly been ahead of the curve, not just influencing fashion, but often times dictating it. After the punk movement faded, Westwood went an entirely new direction with her Pirate collection of frilly shirts and corset belts. Her styles have also included the mini-crini of the 1980s and the frayed tulle and tweed suit of the 1990s.

Quirky, Unique, Original, Outragiouse, Eccentric...this is what I aspire to be!

Junk Gypsies

Jolie from the Junk Gypsies shows off her wonderfully, funky, junky kitchen in the latest issue of Where Women Cook .

Love these Gals! Now, where can I see the rest of this home!?
