I did a little accessory rearranging on top of the Hoosier cabinet. Multiples make the scales look interesting and I fell for the vintage birdcage because of the great green color.
I love the look of a vintage sofa and have always wanted to have one in my home. I even did a post on this subject about a year ago...my family was less than enthusiastic about changing out our current sofa.
So when Hubby and I saw this pretty little thing at the antique mall for a very good price, newly reupholstered in a really pretty Ralph Lauren fabric, we (meaning me) knew the perfect place for it...
Deborah French is an internationally known interior designer & artist. Her NY loft in Tribeca is stunning, filled with her sculptures and vintage items from around the world. Everything has a relaxed, slightly worn, comfortable feel (she actually has a television in her living room). I could move in and feel right at home.
I'm back to Blogging after taking a two week vacation and then a couple of weeks dealing with Internet issues. I think everything is back to normal . Now that my home is back in order, I've caught up on all my favorite design blogs, and all my new treasures are in place, I'm ready to share some new design finds...Southern Living has a new Idea House and I'm loving the the details.
